Default 55 Ford Fairlane hinge pin

My driver door on my 55 is starting to drop, I'm pretty sure the hinge pin on the bottum hinge needs to be replaced. When I look in my parts catalog I can find a pin for a 55 but no bushings, before I pull the hinge I would like to have the parts to fix it. Anyone know if the 55 used bushings or just pins?

Maybe just the pins. Dearborn Classics shows bushings for for '55 Birds and F100 only. '57 is the earliest full size Ford they catalog the bushings for.

Yeah, FORD did not catalog bushings until the 1957 model year. The 55/56 took just pins as the actual bushing was a part of the hinge arm.

If they (bushings) are worn, you will most likely have to have then redone (add material and re-drill) and/or see if the bushings can be drilled OS to accept the later brass bushing. as the hinges are hard to come by.
