Default test fitting fenders & running boards

hello all
i am getteing ready to test fit my fenders and running boards to the frame dose fender welt go between the running boards and front fenders ?

just between the aprons and front fenders it stops at the running board

Just to add to what Mitch said. To do it correctly, I believe the welting on the rear fender is tucked up into the space between the frame and body between the rear of top of the splash apron and the bottom of where the fender well starts. I know it is suppose to be that way it is on 28/29 cars, however I am not 100% sure 30/31's should have it the same way, but I think so. It also looks better that way.
