What was posted is true- COUNTRY of ORIGIN has no real meaning anymore as to quality. They make junk here also.

EDIT -

VANPELT shows the bearing and seal - http://www.vanpeltsales.com/FH_web/r...prices-pg1.htm

Default Re: wheels bearing

I think your only choice/hope is to buy them in a reputable japanese brand(s): FKC/NACHI/NSK/NTN (who owns BCA/BOWER once a part of FM (Federal Mogul), if your lucky you MAY find some in INA (GERMAN brand that stills manufactuer in Germany) or FAG N.O.S., or RHP (NSK own RHP since the early/late 90'
s), we can only procure/order&source&supply in both KOYO/NTN here in Australia, STAY AWAY from FBJ they're chinese GMB ...... even though a jap company source there product worldwide mainly/mostly asian countries so i personally wouldn't trust/use them , alot of aftermarket wheel bearing kits even though the box is marked/printed " MADE IN EUROPE/UK/USA" the bearings are either chinese/indian/korean unknown brands BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!.

Again, good info and advice.

And it is not only classic cars it is also late model that you cannot source quality parts for.
