Default Complaint about good weather

Its going to be a nice weekend weather wise here in the midwest :-(
Road salt still on the roads and don't want road salt dust on or in my model A. Maybe I can get some parts and pieces done :-)

In the last 10 days we've gotten around 30 inches of snow.I plow it so I don't mind, but it is getting hard to find a place to put it.Tomorrow I am going to haul my loader to a couple of places to bucket the snow away. The combination of back to back storms, and a little rain have created huge ice backup problems for a lot of people.I have been shoveling roofs today to get rid of the ice dams.I shoveled a mobile home roof today for a man that said he was too old to do it himself. He is 40,I'm 60.He's not lazy, but he is a pencil pusher and has never developed the muscles for that kind of work.I'm headed back out now to shovel the building I keep my roadster in.

WOW! Be careful, be safe! I once had to shovel snow off a large flat roof, very scary.

70 degrees today in NW Illinois. BUT I agree, salt on the road means ain't gonna go there. Salt dust is bad. I do as Tom Wesenberg and give it a couple hard rains before I venture out.

Rained HARD last Wed. nite, really cleaned the roads off. Friday nite got a 2" snow that melted the next day but the Ill. DOT poured about three months of salt all over the roads they are white with salt. There is even a mound of the stuff on the hard road near my house it is a bump of salt.

Next snow the news people will be wringing their hands with worry because 'the salt is running out what do we do?' same sob song every year to worry the little old ladies. Then after that it will be all the tornado doom and gloom

Worry, worry, worry. They drive you nuts.
