Default 1932 V/8 Upper Hoses

I have a 21 stud engine in my 1932 Ford and a new Walker radiator, the upper outlets are straight out rather than angled. Does anyone have a part number for a hose that works ?

Tall 32 pumps??? Use the uppers off a 37-40 and cut the long straight side down. Use the elbow at head of 37-40 at the radiator side and the cut down straight side on the water pump end!!!! OR If you want a little "bling" cut off both ends and put a Stainless Steel straight tube between the two ends of the above hose.

Hi Everyone. Farley's34, 21 stud engines could have three or more water pump configurations from 32 through the end of their run.

So can you help us a little more with your combination? Maybe a picture showing both radiator and engine sides of the connection you're seeking? Our great members will be better able to help you then, hopefully.

Sorry about not being clear. Just picture a stock 32 V/8 with a new Walker Radiator. (yes it does have tall 32 water pumps)

Jeff, I think you can use 42-48 upper hoses and cut off the lesser angled portion on one end and remove the metal strap.. I "think" this will work and would be cool to leave the Ford script for that period touch (given I know what you are building)

See the photo on the link attached

When I've needed to come up with special radiator hoses to fit different engine swaps in the past, I would go to a local auto parts store and get permission to go through their stock of hoses. I usually came up with something off the shelf that worked perfectly for what I needed. One example was a 59 series FH engine in an otherwise stock 35 sedan. I found a Gates hose that worked perfectly with no alterations. The part # for this hose is still noted in several of my archived posts. In fact some of our major parts dealers picked up on this and added a hose kit in their product line specifically for this conversion.

Another resource to find hoses for modified applications is the downloadable Gates catalog. It has dimensions and photos of every molded hose they make.

A picture of your water pumps and radiator combination would help.
Bob Drake sells several Non-stock engine/ water pump/ radiator combinations that should work for you needs. Here are several options with pictures.

Farley, what did you end up using on your stock 32 V8 with Walker rad? I’m in the same spot now. Thanks.
