OLd photo/picture that I like
I found this one in a thrift store a few years back and I enjoy it a lot. Not sure what the car or plane actually are, but it matters little to me, as I just enjoy the print hanging on my wall.

The car is a 28 or 28 Model A. No clue about the plane. It is a nice photo.

Many Stearmans were modified to carry post in the front seat area and if I am correct, also converted to crop sprayers with a hopper in the front seat area. I' try to post a picture of the 1941 Stearman we had a few years ago.

Re: OLd photo/picture that I like
It is a nice picture. I agree that the car is a 28-29 Ford, but, not quite sure of the plane. It looks a lot like a White, but,,,,

Re: OLd photo/picture that I like
Could be, but the Waco and the Travelair also had a more rounded fin and rudder setup. I find the square tail a bit odd for that era. Even with a big 450 to 550 HP Pratt and Witney radial engine, such a large square rudder is not necessary.
I have flown and given dual conversion training on a few vintage aircraft of the 30s and 40s. The small rounded tail end provides adequate direction control. However, I am sure someone will come up with the answer. Have a great Model A week guys.
