Re: love it or hate it
If that is her first attempt at upholstery, she's got a future! Looks great! You should be very proud of her!

Re: love it or hate it
Goldhardt, that is such a neat avatar with your 2 girls. Can you post it full size?
Every time I see it I think of the giant Studebaker from 1931. |

Re: love it or hate it
I love this web site. The Roadster looks like a time warp from the 1950's with the patina
and the upholstery. And the two little girls are too cute for words, another generation that will have fond memories of Grandpa's car.......hope it sticks. |

Wow, that seat cover is realy nice. What a talented lady. You said that this was her first attempt at upholstery but it sure dosent show. What a great job. Will she do 'have sowing machine will travel'?

Wow, what a BEAUTIFUL looking old A ! Wish I'd have come across one this nice years ago , when I pieced mine together from junked parts ! I would drive that one just as is,with some pride in the story that you can tell about her, eh !! I like the pattern of the cover, tell her she did a good job. My '30 has a route 66 blanket for a seat cover, and everytime that I sit in it I think of the trips across the US . Tell us some history, if known, of how you came into possession and its background, if you will. BTW...the 'seat cover' is a present and she picked it out in Winslow, Arizona. It is a family thing that may stay with the roadster longer than me ! Last edited by hardtimes; 04-04-2015 at 01:18 PM. Reason: .............. |

Re: love it or hate it
I think your seat looks great, and what talent that little girl has , when I was a little brat @ 60 years ago, my mother had a table cloth that looked like that, and it was hers and mine favorite
