Default 36 windwings

I had one of the windwings fall off my 36 Phaeton a while back. Don Rogers , the 36 advisor of the Early Ford sent me a PDF with the correct measurements. I have a couple of questions:

1. Who are the better suppliers? &

2. How do I make certain they don’t fall off again?

Thanks,
John
