Does anyone recognize Ford part number 7C-17795? Is it in any parts books? The reason I ask is the number is marked on some bumper brackets I have, and all I can find is the base number which is on several different applications, but I cannot find, nor do I recognize the prefix.

'48 through ??? pickup. A lot of '48 pickup stuff got the 7 for 1947, just like the '49 car got 8 for 1948, presumably because the changeover to the new stuff ran behind schedule and there was most of a year extra producing the early Fords.

Rear bumper arm outer right hand side F1 panel 48-50.
My parts book is dated July 1950 so the arm may fit later also.

Thanks to both of you. This thing was driving me crazy and I didn't have a 48 and later parts book.
Thanks again.
