55 F100 Front brake lines
Front brake lines missing off my truck. I am making new ones. Do the brake lines run through the holes in the frame crossmember? Looks like they would, but probably need grommets in the holes? Thanks..

The usually don't go through holes, they are clamped on top of the left frame rail, then to the back of the crossmember to the right side.

Through the front of the frame rails. Holes in the rails?

Not in the rails, but in the crossmember. There is a hole on each end of the crossmember that would line up just right for the brake lines. But, as stated earlier, probably not the way to go. Thanks for the diagram...

You should still have the clip-nut holes in the frame and I know the clips are available. I'm getting lazy in my advanced years and try to use lines with the fittings already on them.
