Do you guys with a trunk..
on the back that also have a spare mounted on the back, leave the trunk in place to take the spare off? I'm working on making a trunk for the Tudor, decided to make my own bracket for support also. So if you can remove the spare with the trunk in place what I need to know is how much room is there from the center of the spare to the front of the trunk? Center meaning the hub cap on the spare. Or if it's easier what is the measurement from the tire to the trunk? Thanks. If it matters mines a '29 Tudor.

Re: Do you guys with a trunk..
My S/W TS has that set-up. the hubcap to back of trunk measures approximately 2". I only use my trunk when on a long tour or if taking on 2 passengers. I have had to use my spare on 2 different occasions, but didn't have the trunk on. It is just to easy to remove the trunk.

I have 5 inches between the tire and trunk and 3.25 between the hub cap and trunk. I always leave the trunk installed, as I carry tools and spare parts in it. I can remove the spare with the trunk installed - Ask me how I know! Regards, herb 31 s/w t/s |
