Default 29 Town Sedan glass installation

I am nearing the time to install the door glass on my 29 TS, but have a few questions on installing the felt channels and rubber channel at the top. It seems to me that the upper part of the felt channels needs to be free so the glass can be inserted from the top to connect with the register channel. Yet, the metal channel in which the felt channel fits goes pretty close to the top, as i remember. How do these channels fit in so I can get the glass in later (or take it out after I find out that I have done something wrong). Also, does the top rubber ch. butt into the felt ch. or visa versa? Thx....
