A vacuum synchronizer, sits on top of the carbs and measures the air flow.....VW shops is your best source.....VW guys have been using them for years on balancing Delorto's and Solex's!!!! And Corvair 140 owners its a must!!!!

Like everything today theres the good, the bad and the ugly.......the old sync tools are made off shore and very poor quality.

This is the very best available today very accurate etc...

I have been using a UNISYN made in USA for many years.....has worked very well for me, including Hilborn mechanical stack injectors.

You will be amazed how close you can get it with a piece of garden hose about 2 feet long & go back & forth listening with one end on carb air horn & other at your ear. I grew up in my teens tuning twin carbs on British motorcycles & any multi carb setup on 4cyl, 6cyl, & v8s for all that had them in my home town. now have sets of "Unisync" & similar tools but still use my trusty garden hose.
Cheers
Tony

That is fine as long as you have good hearing. I am not so lucky so use a vac gauge.
