Re: Mini Stroke
Bugger mate! You take care now ( and we'll load another roll of toilet paper onto the holder for you).

Re: Mini Stroke
Lawson, I know what your going thru. Last October I was working on my computer and all of a sudden I thought I had a screen problem. I soon realized that I couldn't see out of my left eye. It wasn't dark, like holding a hand over your eye, but opaque, like holding a piece of gauze over it. I called my eye doctor and went right to his office and he immediately sent me to a specialist. Turns out I had a stroke in my left eyeball. Thankfully, later that evening my eyesight slowly started to return. After a few days my vision returned to normal. Both the eye specialist and my other doctors call me "the miracle man". It's very sobering to leave an eye specialists office thinking over the next few months that I would need a glass eye. Believe me I thank God every day and realize how precious life is.

Re: Mini Stroke
They will just say, yes, you had a mini stroke; and you're ugly too. LOL

Re: Mini Stroke
I don't know if they advised taking an aspirin a day. They are a blood thinner.
Take care. |

Re: Mini Stroke
Aspirin does not "thin" the blood. Aspirin only interferes with the blood clotting mechanism thereby slowing clot formations that cause strokes and heart attacks .

Re: Mini Stroke
81 mg daily is the dosage. That also means that just one aspirin is needed for a headache if you previously needed two.

Re: Mini Stroke
Let's get real here guys : I don't expect to get early Ford advice on a brain surgery forum; I don't know how some of you would accept medical advice presented on an Old Ford Forum.
