Default Steering column Tubes

Is there a difference between the tube used with the late 1929 Gemmer steering gear and the tube used in late 1930. I think the later gear may have been made by Ford.

Possibly the length and quadrant at the top.

Yes. Look at the differences where the spark & throttle quadrant is. The two part numbers you are asking about is A-3509BR and A-3509-C respectively.

If you are looking for the horn rod there are 5 different lengths of rods and /or horn buttons depending on year and 2 vs 7 tooth gear.
