It will usually spill out (drain) when you go around corners

I purchased a very nice catch pan that was made by Mike Kemp from Mooresville,IN. He sells Omega leakless water pumps for Model A’s. He designed and manufactured several pans that fit under the engine and transmissions so that the Indianapolis Motor Speedway would let club members tour the race track without leaking oil, etc. on the track surface. I managed to obtain one and it works very well and is hardly noticeable. It has a large sponge in the tray and is held in place by bungee cords so that it can’t blow out. I don’t understand why this design isn’t sold by the various Model A catalog companies. I can provide more detail if interested. I can try to send a picture.

I have the one I bought from Snyders. I mounted it from the flywheel housing, and keep it stuffed with blue paper towels to catch the drips.

I haven’t seen the one you are talking about. I will look it up to see how they compare. Apparently they weren’t available when Mike Kemp made the one that I have. I’ve owned it for a few years.

Living in the great state of misery if it wasn't for oil leaks we wouldn't have no paved roads here at all. It's almost to sacrilege two on a vehicle that doesn't leak

Are you talking about the rear main janitor? If so, I have one of those but never used it. The one that I ‘m talking about is much larger and yet it allows the oil and transmission fluid to be changed without removing drip tray. It is first rate.

I use feminine napkins in mine... change them once a month.
