Sam,I have a Bob Drake reproduction center grille strip that I am not going to use. It is still in the box, I did remove it from the plastic bag to examine it. I no longer own a 39 Standard. I will phone you tonight if you are interested. Thanks, Tom

The Bob Drake item is the equal of the originals in fit and finish.
For some reason Ford made the 39 std one thinner and less robust than the 38 deluxe - it was easily broken by vigorous cranking. Last edited by swoopNZ; 12-22-2013 at 02:39 PM. |
