Re: Natchez Trace
No. But back in 1785 my 5th Great Grandfather was a farmer on land that the Natchez trace went though. He opened a store on a bluff overlooking the river. A town grew around the store and was called Frenchman's Camp. Later named Leflore's Bluff, MS. It is still there today but now known as Jackson, MS. :-)

Re: Natchez Trace
Hi, Nick: several of the various clubs I belong to in this area (Central Mississippi) routinely have tours up and down the Trace; however, I can't think of any scheduled right off the top of my head. Give me a day or two to check with our club tour schedulers, and I'll get back to you.
I live about 15 minutes South of the Trace (Carthage exit) and routinely drive it when we have to go to Jackson (about an hour - peaceful drive with no commercial vehicles permitted and a 50 mile per hour speed limit - aggressively enforced)! Certainly let me know if you will be in this area - lots of fond memories of Fayetteville and environs! Warm Regards, Marcus CW4, USA, Ret
