Re: Answer to wanted postings
I have had good success with venmo. always paid into my acct and quickly.
can only be used on low sum transactions though. dont remember the limit, but you cant send 5k with venmo to buy a car for example. Most banks have the app. I have a tenant who pays me every month with that service and there are no fees. |

Re: Answer to wanted postings
Hello. You don’t know me, and I find it sad that you would discard any interest I may or may not have in anyth8ng in the future....we obviously don’t know everyone, and we will never will if we decide to only deal with those we know!

Re: Answer to wanted postings
I don’t know if you are referring to my original post......
But as usual one or a few ruin things for everyone.....or have for me Others (likely most) surely see it differently as to interacting on the swap sites; I think there’s enough to fulfill your/all needs. One’s decision shouldn’t make you sad As for me, I’m no longer active in swap! Just an observation..you would be better served to expand your profile as to location, interests, etc. with 8 posts and no info your not making yourself real credible from the get go. Just mho But good luck Last edited by Oldbluoval; 12-02-2020 at 08:39 AM. |

And yes 'Freddie', ...or is it Gene?? Bill is spot-on with his comment about online credibility. We live in a world that does require us to be cautious of our surroundings however if someone were to need to form a decision based on what you have posted here within the last few months, they would likely have reservations too. |

Think they are fishing for my email address. Haven't had a reply from my first response. Now just have to watch the spam in the email folder. Sigh....... |

Re: Answer to wanted postings
I was contacted by the same people listed in this warning. Maybe the Moderator can take care of this issue?

Re: Answer to wanted postings
I have a bit of a different complaint about the swap meet. I posted looking for a part a while back. I had good results but after receiving my parts i went to remove my post so as not to clutter the site. There is no option to delete the post.
I don't want to waste time reading an old post to help someone who found what they are looking for only to learn they've already got the part. I don't imagine anyone wants to waste time reading mine. |

Re: Answer to wanted postings
Posts can be edited for 30 days after they're created, so if you find the part you wanted, you can edit the post to say so. If it's been more than 30 days, you can reply to your own post.
The inability to delete posts is a decision by the admin to help readers know what the market for cars and parts is. It's helpful to go back and see how often something comes up and what someone was asking for it. |
