Re: 1930 Model A Sport Coupe
John I really like the car but there is a lot of work to restore this car, I have a 1930 Model A coach that I am trying to restore now for two years, I can only go do work on mine 1 to 2 hours a day, the Pain Specialist orders and he is the guy that convinced my family that I should get a Model A to tinker on, a little each day. The money I put into mine, it never ends. I think you are asking a little too much because I have seem running, painted cars on this site several times, sure there are people out there asking 18 to 30 thousand but their cars are all redone and new everything, and some of them can sell others can't sell. Don't get me I like the car, and I wish I could buy it, but, I am on a small disability pension I just got a large Speedway order. I do like the car I wanted a Model A Coupe for over 40 years. but at this time my piggy bank is dry. If I had the money to do it $5000 to $5500 would be a fair price and I think you will sell around that price fairly quick. I wish it was me but I do know I can't...Good luck
Hank 1930 Model A Coach proud owner. Restoring is re-inventing the wheel- And is a very deep money pit- But we do it for the LOVE of vehicles- But we will NEVER EVER get the MONEY or LOVE back from it!!!!!!! |
