I'm selling it! My Town Sedan! I'm burned out on it. I haven't done anything on it for at least two years, I'm sick of it! So here's the deal, 1 1930 six wheel, Town Sedan with new paint, Frame off, (PPG shopline,the Drabs, Chickle and what ever the other one is!) Could use color sanding, maybe not! $5,000 + (Maybe $6,000, got to add it all up , to Ora Landis at Schwalms) B carb w/ bored out manifold In the engine. New wood. Some I bought, like the header, some I made. I'm a former Mechanical Model Maker, I think I can handle this! I also had a friends Bridgeport to work on. All Ash, Like Henry made it, another $2,000. New windshield. New seat springs and wood, Rebuilt rear end. New Chromed rear bumpers. 2 Snyder's rain Gutters, 4 good Allstate tires and one extra rim, 99% of the parts there, though some are not on the car in the pics. Yes, I said pictures! I can't ever recall how much I've done to this car, but I've got two file folders of receipts to verify it all. Dozens of $100 dollar items!
The biggies are the engine, The body work and paint, and the wood. and the initial cost of the car it's self. The car needs finish work, door alignment and glass. Regulators are there. A top kit and upholstery kit and some small parts. The pics are in my album, Terry, NJ ,My A. But wait! There's more! I tend to forget stuff and I recall it later. Like the lightened and rebalanced flywheel, 57 lbs and the Snyders HC 5.5 head . And the Hyd Brakes. And the new safety quarter glass not installed yet. Check tomorrow for more recollections. God only knows what I'll think of!
