Default '36 roadster top

Don't stone me, but I'm building a fiberglass bodied '36 roadster and I am to the point of preparing for the convertible top. What size and kind of snaps did Henry use on a real one? I think I have found two sizes of snaps, 3/8 and 5/8". What is the spacing between them? Thanks in advance.

Perhaps LeBaron Bonney would be able to advise you. They seem to have a comprehensive range of Tops, uphostery etc.
