46 help needed please
Trying to put my 46 back together after 18 years and I have too many of some parts and not enough of the ones I need.
I am trying to figure out what the length of the rear door channels are and witch one goes where? I have one original front window that still has a track on it. Track measures 16" and the holes are 7-7/8" center to center. Do the tab mount to the inside of the car or the outside? THIS QUESTION ANSWERED As for the back doors..... I do not know what goes in there? I may have one but I don't know. Please help... Thanks, Dave Photo of the other front channel. Last edited by 416Ford; 08-03-2012 at 11:52 AM. |

Re: 46 help needed please
Not as much help as I seem to need. Image 19 is the only thing close. Shows the mounting bracket on the inside of the channel. Still not sure how long the rear ones are.
Thanks |

Re: 46 help needed please
Here are a couple of pages from the '42 For Army Staff Car Manual that might also help. To get reasonable clarity the file was to big for the FB Website so follow this link instead.

Re: 46 help needed please
Still need a little help here. If someone has a 4dr with the back door panel off.
Looking for the measurement of the track and distance from first hole to door vertical track(need to make sure I get the track mounted the bottom of the glass in the correct spot). I have the glass and just need to get it installed. Thanks |
