Default 12v conversion

I'm in the process of converting my 37 model 78 slantback from a 6v positive system to a 12v negative system with an alternator. i looking for advice on which spark plugs and coil to use. I'll continue to use the original distributor which has been rebuilt by Skip Haney.

Thank you for any advice in advance. Stay safe and stay healthy.

Another of my wondering's why. I have been accused of going to 12vts by my friends,
nope 6vts pos grd. just bump the button its running. so we need these radios and
other foolish stuff. I put a 12 volt garden tractor batt. in the trunk ran the wires under
the seat floor mats to run a radio glove compartment. These electronics today use very
little juice. Now charge phones listen to tunes plus a scanner. Maybe almost a year before I put the trickle charger on the battery . Also a plus, a solonoid from this 12vt to the 6vt. with a button I can jump the 6vt battery if dead..My feed is 10 gauge wire in witch only used for a moment..

Lot of past post on this topic. The basics are change out all the bulbs to 12v, add voltage drops the the gauges, change out the coil or add a ballast resistor. The alternator takes care of the generator issue. 6v starter will work on 12v or switch to 12v starter.

Because this is reality TV and if he doesn't get it done by the end of the show, the world will explode.
