Default Side Wind Screens

My 1930 Model A has two side glass windscreens. The glass sits inside a chrome frame that is attached to two brackets fastened to the door.

The fellow who restored the car apparently made the brackets out of wood, painted to look like metal. The wood has now broken.

Does anyone have any suggestion about where I could find metal brackets? I can't even find the proper description of the wind screens, such less the brackets.

Any suggestions?

Do you have a close up picture of the parts in question?

I need a better side view, but those landau bars don't look original and are mounted on the wrong sides. I can't imagine homemade landau bars, so maybe it's just the camera angle playing tricks with me as far as them looking different than original.

Looks like you have a 68B cabriolet with roll down windows in the doors. The chrome window frames slide in metal tracks at the front and metal/ felt tracks at the back. The inside door panel that holds the window crank mechanism is wood on early & metal on later ones. These panels are screwed to the door frame front and rear. There are wood grained metal trim pieces on three sides of the window but not the top. The design is kinda like the modern convertible type. Berts may be able to help once you've figured out what you need, also, contact the cabriolet club and see the cabriolet website (run by two different people). Good luck.

Thanks for the replies; I looked at the Bratton's site and think that I may have "custom made" (i.e. carved out of wood) brackets. I'll post pics when I get to car.
