Default Inner Tubes with the Metal stems installed

Does anyone sell the 21 inch inner tubes with the metal stem installed for the nickel plated long caps? If so who has the best ones?

Some parts suppliers have metal valve stems in their tubes that are generic. Others have Schrader (like original metal stems) valve stems on their tubes. Metal valve stems are not all that hard to install in tubes with rubber valve stems.

Do you use an arc welder to repair flats? LOL

I haven't installed my metal stems yet, but I've seen it done, and agree with Rusty that it isn't too hard to do.

I know you want to buy them already installed (Sacramento Vintage Ford pt. number 00021-5) but here is the process of installing them yourself;

I too, bought mine from Brattons. They claim the tubes are new rubber, not recycled. I think they look great.

All my tubes with metal stems already installed leak. The metal stems I bought from A&L don't.

thanks for posting, Mike.....I have installed several metal valves over the years, but I had to replace a tube yesterday and the rubber valve was unusually stubborn to remove. this tutorial helped!
