Are you talking about a stock Model A engine? Enjoy.

I am having no problems.
I have used both the champions and autolite, but prefer the champions due to their size/looks.
They seem to have a better appearance on top of the engine then the skinny autolite plugs
I was just curious as to what others were running.
And yes, I am totally stock.

I misunderstood you post. I like Champions to, for your same reason. Sorry. Enjoy.

Went to advance auto and got their cheapest, TT10s. 50,000 miles on the same plugs. Works for me! JB

I'm cheap, free plugs, champion 3X, picked them out of the trash at Hershey, were black, ran them lean and hard, now burning near white

Hello Gang,

My car is currently running Champion C-16 C plugs. I pulled them out and they look a little worse for wear. The center electrode is noticeably worn out near the ground electrode. I planned on replacing the plugs with Champion 3X's as recommended here.

Should I have any concern with such a swap? If I should start my own thread for this question, I will. Don't mean to step on anyone's toes.

Thank you for your time,
Ted

I've had good luck finding piugs sold as racing plugs from the 30's and 40's... authenticity and still a bloody hot fire

I've been running either 3X's or W18's (518) for years and here is a picture showing one reason why. Don't try this at home unless you have a lot of hacksaw blades.

I am still running C 16 C in the car that I restored in the 70s, probably the key to all of them is having the mixture right.
