Default Rattle of light switch/horn button

Hi there,
I have tinkered a long time on my 31 ford, so now I can hear the horn/light switch rattle all the time. I can not put tape or something on the switch rod as it would peal off and plug up and cause the switch to rotate when I turn the steering wheel.
Any suggestions as to a fix of an "sticky" thing?

do you have the proper brass bushing in the top end?

looks like that - typically left out/lost...

I used one of those cloth rubbers for tying hair up. There is heaps just lying around where kids play. Get the right size and she's sweet, no rattle.
