Re: Where are you at HERSHEY
I'ma be there on Wednesday dawn to dusk and stopping at as many of these spots as possible.
I always stop in the V-8 Foundation booth for a bunch of raffle tickets and Don Rogers' honey hole. It's the family reunion for me. Charges my soul for many moons. But I being 3 seasons worth of clothes just to be prepared. Clem, where's your list? Charlie NY, are you coming? I'm gonna load up on goodies to make my '35 drive even better and longer. Last month I got 2K miles out of the Emerald Beast, MD, PA, WV, OH, and IN.

Re: Where are you at HERSHEY
CPC-63 South Chocolate, just West of Dennis Carpenter, EV8, Zephyr gears, Isky 185Gs and a bunch of unmentionables. Say your prayer for nice cool, sunny weather. Last few years have been awesome, although a little on the hot side. Talking to Bob Jones, Dennis Carpenter, I commented on the heat last year, and Bob Says it was 110 in shade in NC the week before, so what do I have to complain about.

Re: Where are you at HERSHEY
Like being in heaven. I know we all look forward each year in going. One year we had a tent. It snowed, so cold wife was going to leave me there and drive home without me. She almost froze to death she said. She still brings that up.

Re: Where are you at HERSHEY
I'm not there yet , but when I do get there next Tuesday I'll be at RCA104, or maybe it's 106, can't remember exactly because when I get there someone else is usually in my sticker spot anyway, so I'm instructed to park in another spot. I guess it really doesn't matter, cuz I'm usually walking the fields and visiting old friends most of the time anyway. So,......long story short, all you may see is my Avatar sitting in my spot behind a tarp with some parts on it, and if you happen to see anything you need laying on that tarp, GRAB IT !!!!, and pay one of my friends nextdoor (either side), but if you really want or need to talk to me, read the note on the tarp that has my phone number included, and call me, however, 90% of the time I can't hear my phone ringing, so keep trying.

Re: Where are you at HERSHEY
I'm in the Green field at GBL35. My white box truck will be behind me.
I'm bringing a nice 35 block and good crankshaft and some other engine parts. I've also decided to bring my promotional auto spring bench for sale this year, I think it's from the teens or 20s by the looks of the Ubolts and hardware. All Y'all are welcome to stop by and rest your feet whether I'm there or not, I'll throw a moving blanket on it to keep you clean and comfortable. |
