T restoration book
I have an early 1920's chassis with a 26/27 engine and trans, what would be some of the better books on restoring the chassis and rebuilding the engine and transmission?
Thanks to all I love this site. coupeman36 |

Re: T restoration book
These would be good, the Service Manual is a must.
All the vendors carry these reprints, except the big book by McCalley, that is now out of print. Also the MTFCA has booklets and CD's on repair hints for the parts of the chassis, rear end, engine, trans, coils, etc. |

Re: T restoration book
Engine , trans & running gear manuals are sold by the big boy parts houses and are a must & fairly inexpensive. The black bible would also be helpful although it's a bit of a hard read and frankly, the pictures are from hunger. McCauly's book will cost you quite a bit and frankly would only be handy if you think improper year parts were used on the car and you want to make sure it's period correct. Not much in the way of procedures in it.
