Default Headliner install on 36 5 window

Going to install a new headliner kit from Macs , Cartouche. On my 36 5 window coupe. Any suggestions and or tips will be much appreciated. Seat and door panels are good to put back in as is. Was going to have the interior redone but my LeBaron Bonney kit is still in great shape, had to remove all of the headliner when in for the new paint job. Thanks!

My old LBB instructions (33 tudor)stated to start from the back and work your way forward.Let the flaps(that you staple to the bows) of the bow seams hang below the bows at least 1/2 inch. Here is a pic of how it ended up towards the front and back.
Here is a pic of my old '36 coupe.I did not install that headliner

somehow keep your hands clean, back to front, think twice cut once. my macs headliner in the 35 turned out good for a rookie.

Mark the center of your wood bows and also mark the center of the flaps that staple to the bows to keep the material centered. If you have a dome light make sure the wire to the light is in good condition. If not, run a new wire. Also check all the tack strips. If they are starting to deteriorate replace them.
