1930 Tudor questions
A friend of mine is in the process of restoring a 1930 Tudor Sedan he bought from Danmark. Where can he get the curved panels above the doors. Are threr reproduction ones available? Maybe somebody has good originals. He also wants to know if the 28-29 body subrails are the same as the 30-31?
Thanks for your help, Alex |

Re: 1930 Tudor questions
You mean the ones above the doors to the roof?

Re: 1930 Tudor questions
Reproductions of the curved panels above the doors are available - Bratton's has them listed for $140 each - no personal experience as to how good the fit of the panels is. Originals do come up on eBay every so often - you could also place an ad here in the wanted section. The subrails are different at the front where they join the cowl for sure, not sure about elsewhere.

Yes, we mean these that goes over the door from the b-pillar to the front visor. He would like to take originals, but I didn't think you can get them without the whole body? We'll try to find them in the search and sale part of Fordbarn.

Re: 1930 Tudor questions
I thought about the subframe could be the same on the back side, but didn't know. I have only the back half part of some Brookville Roadsters Inc. Sedan subrails as left over from my 28 Phaeton project and thought he maybe could use them. Not know the differences between the subrails from each body styles, but thought the rear part from the sedan subrails might be the same 28/29 and 30/31.
Thanks for the info about the roof parts. We'll try to get some experiences with these Bratton Reproduction pieces and try to find originals on Fordbarn. Quote:

Re: 1930 Tudor questions
I have used the repro roof panels, they fit good for me without making any alterations to them.
