Default Correct 1934 Door Glass Bumpers?

Which is the correct style of door glass bumper for a 1934 5 Window coupe? I see two different styles in Bob Drakes catalog, part # B-7021444 and B-7021452. Thanks, Mike

The 7021444 is meant for garnish mouldings and the 7021452 is meant for the door itself

Thanks for the information Mike.

I found my Body Parts Book but I don't see these bumpers listed in the door section (or other sections.) Does anyone have info or photos on the locations for each of the bumpers?

Thanks,
-Mike34

You'll likely find slots in the glass side of the garnish moldings and in the inner lip of the door for the placement of the bumpers in Michael's #2 post above. The bumpers are illustrated in the 1934 edition of Ford's "Automotive Hardware and Trimming Supplies" catalog which is available in an inexpensive reprint from Bob Drake, etc.

Slots...OK, I'll take a look.

Guess I need to look at the Hardware and Trimming book again, I obviously overlooked them the other day. I must be losing my touch!
Thanks, David.

you aren;t losing your touch as I went to look for them in the trimming catalog and could only find one of them listed under a different part# than vendors use. The reproduction catalogs are the 28-38 version, so they may only be in the earlier versions that are not reprinted. I haven't looked yet though.

Michael,

They are in the '34 version of the hardware catalog which was reprinted and is still available from sellers like Bob Drake. Unlike the '38 version, the '34 reprint is the original full size.

The original part number was B-45830 as listed in both the '34 body parts and hardware catalogs.
