Smiling at 84 Years of Age
Attachment 89433 Having my December 1927 A on the front cover of the May-June "Model A News" is the highlight of my Model A hobby. Do not hesitate to enter your A in Fine Point Judging at a National Meet; I did for years and am sorry I waited so long. And thanks to everyone who encouraged me, and in perticular Steve Plucker who has been a long time friend.

Re: Smiling at 84 Years of Age
Ron, your truck is stunning. I keep going back over the pages of color photos because they are so captivating. Beautiful choice of color and fine detailing on a rarity that really deserved a fine point restoration. Congratulations on a well deserved award.

Re: Smiling at 84 Years of Age
So that's yours!! Great job.
Did the cabinet maker make the body by eye or did he make up some drawings first? The before pics did not show a hell of alot of wood to copy.

Re: Smiling at 84 Years of Age
Ron, It's great to see your truck featured. It was also a joy to see all the positive responses from all the folks attending the meet in San Diego. It's all well deserved to say the very least!

Re: Smiling at 84 Years of Age
That is a very interesting rare truck, and I particularly love the early cars. Your restoration is superb, and you deserve to be smiling.

Re: Smiling at 84 Years of Age
Ron, I have a question. Did you use auto paint on the wood? What brand and type, and what did you use as primer, sealer, etc?

Re: Smiling at 84 Years of Age
What production model is that pick-up. I have never seen one. How would something like that be classified for judging if the cab is home made ?
