Well, we finally got a chance to drive the car and wow what a difference the new gearbox made. Runs quiet and shifts perfectly. (did lose some of its model A charm no longer having that second gear straight cut gear whine though ) Put it in overdrive and the rpm's drop right where they need to be.
Dave's kit is well thought out, fits, and a great addition for a car that you want to really drive
