Default Brake spring specifications?

Sponsored Links (Register now to hide all advertisements)
Hello -

Does anyone know of a specification guide that might give me the specs for the brake springs in my '37 Zephyr? I know no one carries them new; I was just hoping that if I knew the specs, I could find the closest matching springs. Any leads?

PS -- The Zephyr brakes are cable, but different than the Fords. For one thing, the cables are not attached under tension; you just pull the slack out of them. Not bad, but obviously more trouble than hydraulics and harder to set up with even pull, which is why I want springs across the wheels that are reasonably well matched.
