Default leather care

I got the pleasure of tagging along on a counch shopping tour today...

I looked attentive and survived. Come to find out the sales rep drove Morgans and TR's rode and cared for horses. So I asked her about leather care and Lexol. Her response was that Lexol weakened the stiching. I have used Lexol for years with good results.
She recommended "Horseman's One Step"

Comments on either product?
