Default I put Radial Tires on my 56 T-Bird

The tires that was on the car when I got it were terrible even worse then that. They look new but sitting for 27 years and mostly flat did not do them any good. They be alright for a roller. Free if anyone wants them. We roads test the t-Bird and very nice I was surprise how nice it runs.

I got a little exhaust leak a ticking that will require new gaskets. then the charging systems is not working like I want. It works but not right yet. I have not check out the heater or defroster yet. Air vent on driver side missing just the knob is there. Will replace that cable. Does not leak oil where It is park so far. Marvel Mystery Oil seam to help the motor a lot. It runs very smooth now and the carb works as it should.Wipers have not done any thing yet but will get them working as they should. Will rebuild the double action fuel pump and that should help a lot. After all that then will repaint the car to make it lazer straight. that should take most of the summer I guess. Those Radial Tires sure made a big difference in the way the car rode and the car is quiet now.I have a clip board on each car on what to be done because I forget little things.I write down what to be done. I want to make this little Bird a nice car to drive on tours and look good as it should.O yes the speedo cable needs clean and oiling so it stop jumping. Easy fix. This is what ahead for the Little Bird down the road.

I have been following your posts since you started letting us know about this car. Most of what I have read is just indicative of a car that has not been driven and has just been sitting in a garage a long time. These cars are meant to be on the road for sure - I think you will find that the more you drive it and have it out the fewer problems you will have. It is never good to let one just sit.

The body work was first class I half to say. Its done back in my garage. Today I am working on rentals that I have. Try to get caught up so I can play with my Junkers.

I was just over on the CorvetteForum, and saw your T-Bird picture there, and recommended you check out the Fordbarn.com, not knowing you've already found it. BTW, a couple of very nice looking cars you've got there in the Vette and T-Bird.

Yes I like you 56 Ford also. I had a 56 Ford but sold it. Do miss it. Just can't keep them all. Here a picture of it.

Nice looking Crown Vic you had there. I know what you mean, though, about not being able to keep them all. I wish I had all of mine too.

I miss my 56 Crown Victoria very much. I have been working on a 32, 3 window coupe. All original even white walls both side of the tires. Its sits beside the T-Bird. The t bird is pretty but I still like a 32.
