Default Early GAV Seat Problem

I have a double venturi carb I am restoring and I want to clean the GAV passage so I unscrewed the brass seat but the thing just isn't coming out. It moves but it won't pop out of the housing, which leads me to believe it might be stripped. Anybody have any ideas or advice?

I tried blasting through the other side of the passage to no avail with my air compressor.

I will give the paper clip a try. Don't have one of those locking screwdrivers, can't say I have ever seen one.
