Default Powder coat hubs and drums?

I've got a new set of front hubs and drums ordered. Should they be painted with heat-resistant paint or can they be powder coated? If using high-heat paint is Rustoleum brand a good choice?

Thanks!

You want to use paint made for drums or rotors. The paint should be just enough to cover but not prevent heat from dissipating. Powder coating would be too thick.

i use the high temp rustoleum and would not pc them because of the tolerances such as drum hat to wheel mating surfaces etc etc

By the way, here's a link to an older thread about this very topic. Thought it may help others with the same question. Sorry to be redundant, but I just found it:

My >02C.... NEVER had an issue with powder on drums/hubs/ and gasp....rotors. No discoloring, fading, chipping.I've done my own wheels, calipers, backing plates,hubs...etc....Things that get a lot of heat.
Have not noticed any issues, and I put stuff to the test and inspect often.
I will be doing my brake parts shortly without any concerns......

Powder coated my hubs and brake drums in 1999 and they still look like new. Never a problem with heat.
