Default broken carburetor flange.

Hi guys while I'm at it [fixing my carb. ] let me put this out there, I have a correct carb for my late 31 roadster but the bolt flange broke off. can it be welded back together??I here they are hard to find thanks THE HOOCH

Yes I have brazed a few it has worked for me!

I have had good success with brazing, gas welding, and wire welding cast iron.

If you are not sure then take it to a reliable welding shop.

JB Weld or Gorilla glue might help, Don't overtighten.

I have one that in the process of repair, they buggered up the idle slot

look for a used original. They are not that hard to find. Call Berts. Wayne
