54 vibration
a friend has a 54 sedan 223 srnd,it has a rumble from almost the start like the motor was mounted solid.he has tried everything now hes talking about changing the motor mounts but i dont see anything wrong with them.any ideas

Could it be that the harmonic balancer is shot and
sending a vibration through the drive line ? .

Have you checked the drive-train (u joints especially) to see if they are the cause?

hes checked everything possible now hes just shooting in the dark.my guess would be the rearend but hes had that apart.

Ck the transmission mount. what is oil pressure? bad mains sometimes give off a rumble sound.
