Default NOS 33 & 35 grille find

I went picking up flathead parts on Fri & was treated to touching a NOS 33 grille , soooooooooo beautiful !! also a 33 repop grille hanging beside them . Sorry no camera with me . NOS 32-36 crankshaft still in orig box .
I were picking up 2 36 sedan fenders & ended up also buying a K R Wilson engins stand , the craddle kind . The fine older gentlman had lots of parts , in middle of restoring a 35 Phaeton & had a stunning fully restored 35 Phaeton. I picked up a 59ab engine on the way to getting my fenders .
Just another great flatheads parts collecting adventure.
Cheers
Tony

Tony; Isn't there someone in Australia there that is restamping 35 grills? I found them on the internet once and have not been able to relocate. Thanks Dave/Green Bay

Mike in Fl/Wv , wow I will do that , how many people can say they have touched 33,34,35 NOS grilles 75 years after they were made. What a treat !!
Lawrie the biggest diference I couls tell was in the plating & where the orig grille was painted .
Jack will be ok , possibly will lose his eye , but he has another & is still with us !!!! He has a long rehab time ahead of him !
So glad the dragster enging is coming along so well !
Cheers
Tony

Just bought a 35 grille from Sacramento Ford. It is one of the Aussie grilles and I would say it is beautiful.

It did cost $2250 + shipping.

I was in the store and saw a sign attached to a 34 grille saying they had both years in stock. The guy at the counter said they did not have any 35 grilles so I showed him the sign whch had a different part number than the standard FORD number. He did some checking, talked to his boss and they both came out from the back with it saying "I wish they would tell us when they get sometbing in"

The part number is 13110-35

When it cost close to $1500 to $1800 to have a quailty triple plate chrome job on an original it is a real deal. Dave/Green Bay
