Hi fellow members, new to the Barn! I just this week purchased a 1931 Ford Coupe. believe it or not numbers matching. Its rough as a Cobb and has been sitting for 48 years. My question is this, how do I know if it was originally a rumble seat car? the steps are there, but nothing else. no upper hole for handle, but an old hasp at the bottom of the lid. inside the trunk are is a curved metal piece and a vertical piece of metal on both sides of the trunk with two hole (hinge mount?)
