anyone Know what this is on the radiator or have any info on it?? (

(took this from another fordbarn post about the recent auction)

This one is of my Great Grandfather and HIS roadster at the time. he is about 20 years old in the picture. It has one of those things on the radiator too.

PS: Notice the radiator cap...

Also, notice the hub caps, positoning of side view mirror, and the fat trim on the upper radiator piece below the FORD badge. (any info on this stuff would be nice also)

That's a divider dress up grill piece, to make it look like a Pontiac.

Mid 30's model a accessories to give the look of more higher priced cars...nothing special

they were for sale at Western Auto for .78 cents
heres a picture of one and an envelope to mail off for it
remember to put your 2 cent stamp on it
