Default How to fix a dig in a running board

I just backed my '35 Phaeton into my trailer and took a dig out of my new Drake running board. Any suggestions on how to patch it up? The dig is about 3" long and 1 1/2" wide. Mostly not all the way to the metal. Thanks for your help. Jim in San Jose.

ITW Devcon make a number of products for repairing rubber etc. Check their product line or talk to one of the retailers or industrial suppliers for suggestions.

I would not use RTV. Look into the Devcon suggestion

Thanks to all for the suggestions. I appreciate them very much. I guess I will try the Devcon first. Jim
