Default T170rts Tremec or Ti50 transmission

I am looking at putting a 4 speed overdrive transmission in my 30 tudor. Has anyone used either of these or any suggestions on what I could use. I know about the Mitchell but would really like to use the T170rts Tremec but cant seem to find one. Any suggestions would help Thanks.

pearl 1: if you mean by "can't seem to find one" that you can't physically local the correct F150 transmission, then try this site......."car-part.com". It is a used car parts search engine. The transmission you are looking for is out of a 84-87 Ford F150 two wheel drive truck. The transmission is an aluminum case 4 speed transmission w/OD. The OD ratio can be determined by looking at the metal tag attached to the front right side of the transmission. The first three letters will be "RTS" following by a 2 digit letter code which tells you the OD % of that transmission. You what the 26.7% OD transmission. I'm posting the decoding chart for those codes and also a screen-shot from the "car-part.com" site showing which transmission to search for. I hope this was what you were looking for.
