Default Dash light mounting

Does anyone know how to mount a dash light in a '31. There are two holes in the light's mounting bracket. Does it mount with the dash rail center bolt, with one of the gas tank mounting bolts, or some other way. I'm having a senior moment and can't seeem to figure it out.

The round hole in the dash light uses the center dash rail bolt. The square hole in the dash light fits around a little tab behind the dash rail.
