I had what I thought was a pair of nos rear fenders that came with a 39 convertible I bought recently. As I was hanging them on the wall in the shop Saturday, I noticed the left one looked visibly shorter than the right one. I took the tape to them and the left is about three inches shorter than the right one. I know the right one is correct for the car as it still had the old tag with pt number still attached. (81A16312-C) My question is, what does the left hand fender fit?

Count the bolt mounting holes in the fender, 11 holes is for a 39 Dlx fender 10 holes is for a 38 standard sedan fender.
