Anyone have the measurements for a “aa” windshield frame? I have a frame that is too big for my Tudor and I was hoping to find out what it fits so it can find a proper home. 43 1/2” long x 17 1/8 tall.

What year is your tudor? 28/29 or 30/31? Trucks would have the same frame as cars in a given time frame.
I don't have the info at hand on size but the year would help others.

It’s not for my car. It already has one. This is just an extra frame I had around. It must not be Ford at all if the AA was the same size as the enclosed cars were.

I think that If its a normal Ford built body , the coupe , tudor and pickup , regardless of year will all fit the common AA truck cabs. The slant windshield fordor cars and maybe some others are different . Even my 31 standard roadster windshield glass is the same diamention as the common tudor but the frames wont interchange .

I believe Purdy is correct. I have a 29 CCPU and 28 coupe and the windshields are the same size. 28 - mid 30 CCPUs and AA trucks use the same cabs and windshields.

Could be Model T. Except for slant windshields and some roadsters all A, AA and BB used the same size glass. The differences would be the air deflector at the bottom, hinge and hole placement for the wiper motor. ( I did some asking)

It might be a late T windshield. Someone else had mentioned that before and your mention of it jogged my memory.

I just measured my Canadian 28 AA for you. My frame measures 39.75” wide and 18” tall.

Bill Pursel: I will get you exact measurements this evening. Don't want you to get stuck with a frame you don't need like I did. Probably just shipping and the cost of a box if you do need it.

Also whos to say its even for a ford? Many cars looked alike back then.

Got any pics of hinge, overall shape, windshield brackets, rain rail, etc?

Hoovercw...I measured my windshield opening and best I can measure the opening is 44 1/2 in wide by 16 in tall at sides.
